Are you ready to supercharge your Knowledge Class polymathic career?

This week I am launching our Global Polymathic Fellowship. Feel free to wander around the site. Excuse the mess, I'm still editing. However, I think it is far enough along that you can get a sense of it. It perpetually will be a work in progress, so please return for a second or even third read, from time to time.

To make this absolutely clear, this site is designed as a portal to Fellowship. We discuss with the intent to proceed to action. We are bringing together polymathic intellectuals, visionary entrepreneurs, gifted creatives, exceptional technologists and risk tolerant venturists to do projects. Consistent with the concept of polymathy, you are not limited to fulfilling just one category.

The initial set of projects will revolve around the utilization of a shared resource, visitors to Polymathica.com. Polymathica.com will be a boutique homepage for people of refinement and erudition. The first project, of course, is to build Polymathica, itself, from its current 1,700 facebook and e-mail members to several million who habitually visit a robust Polymathica.com site.

That can only happen with the initiation of projects that will provide content, products and services to Polymathicans. As I say, perhaps ad nauseam, refined, erudite content attracts refined, erudite visitors and vice versa. This positive feedback loop is a cornerstone of our strategy. It also required that we simultaneously pursue them all. They are mutually enabling. It is important, also, to recognize that there are at least two million English speakers on the Internet who strongly identify with the archetype of 'Polymath'. They, potentially, are our most enthusiastic Polymathicans.

I am recruiting polymathic intellectuals to broaden our scope of projects. These people are extremely intelligent, polymathic in their knowledge base, intellectually disciplined and visionary. Our Fellowship will provide them with an outlet for their efforts unlike any other. Their visions will be elaborated upon by entrepreneurs and creatives and enabled by Venturists, of human and financial resources. When you become a Fellow, there really is no limit to where your membership may take you.

The Future 101 is an informational site and valuable as an initial 'get up to speed' resource. The two pages, The Transformation Part One and Part Two are essential. For the more intellectually inclined the page entitled 'A Superior Knowledge of Futurity' provides a conceptual understanding of the Future Studies methodologies I use to create a superior knowledge of futurity.

Fellows, as individuals who wish to engage in our suite of projects professionally, will be required to have a much more complete understanding of The Transformation. Consequently, a prerequisite to Fellowship is registration in the ten semester-credit, graduate level, online course, The Future 501: The Transformation. It is a significant commitment of both time and money. However, it is your entré into the profoundly affluent, polymathic, Information Age Knowledge Class and a leadership position in our Culture of Affluence, Polymathica. As a professional qualification, it is extraordinarily inexpensive. When you consider the extensive career development assistance that the Fellowship provides, it is a steal.

I humorously state that we are going to raise an army of Polymaths and take over the world. While intended to be humorous, it is not without some validity. Those who join our Fellowship will have a powerful competitive advantage as The Transformation unfolds. As a Fellow, you will have the knowledge, associations and resources you need to achieve your Information Age goals. It is critical to understand that, per The Cultures of Affluence, I am defining affluence in several dimensions other than financial well-being. In the Information Age, affluence will also involve self-actualizing lifestyles , community identity and appropriate intellectual, cultural and aesthetic outlets.

My first year goal for Fellowship is 2,000 members. However, it is far more important that we get it right, than just get it big. So, we will proceed carefully, assuring that those who join our Fellowship will bring value added and conversely will also find Fellowship enabling to their own life goals. When and if you become a Fellow, you will find yourself in a small, but growing community of truly extraordinary individuals.

So far, I would estimate the Fellowship's mean D15IQ to be around 145 or about that of the typical Nobel Prize winner in science. I suspect that as it grows, it will settle in around a D15IQ ≈ 142 and a σ≈8.0. In other words, 95% of Fellows will have IQs between 126 and 158. Parenthetically, my D15IQ is 160+. The test I took did not register higher. While IQ, as is the case with Fellowship, is often necessary, but rarely sufficient. I know many, many people in that IQ range. I only invited a few who also have vision, polymathic knowledge and a commitment to positive results. whne and if you apply for Fellowship, we will carefully consider whether it will likely be beneficial for you and the organization before accepting you into our ranks.

I am now recruiting venturists who can bring human and financial resources to our projects. The best of them are quite intelligent and will bring prestige to our organization along with their sources of financial and human capital. While, as you will discover in The Future 101 and The Future 501, financial capital is becoming less important and human capital is become more important in the Information Age. However, both are essential to the success of a project. There is currently a very serious stumbling block between idea and start up and the Fellowship is intended to overcome it.

I cannot emphasize this enough. I am creating a success-prone educational and productive environment. When you join the Fellowship, your success has my undivided attention. I will work diligently to assure that as many Fellows as possible achieve their career, cultural and social goals. Now, you can join a whole lot of groups for free. However, if experience has not taught you this lesson yet, it will. You get what you pay for... if you are lucky. In the case of Fellowship, I am dedicated to the the proposition that you will get what you pay for.

If you want to jump in with both feet, you can choose to become an Organizational Development Representative. I designed this to be a part-time job providing a Knowledge Class income. By that, I mean that the successful representative will earn an employee equivalent of $90 per hour or more. With a little less immediacy, you may wish to consider becoming a Teaching Assistant. It, too, will meet or exceed the Knowledge Class minimum wage.

Western civilization is at the beginning of a profound transformation to a global Information Age civilization. If you have not already, please visit The Future 101 to learn more about it. Here, the three most important events are 1) the replacement of up to 90% of all jobs by robots, expert systems and other forms of artificial intelligence, 2) a spectacular Income Explosion that will raise the median household income over most of the world to 500K+ 2011USD by 2040 and 3) the emergence of a profoundly affluent Knowledge Class that defines affluence in both monetary and self-actualization dimensions.

Additionally, Industrial Age incomes will stagnate while those who undertake an Information Age career will find themselves 'jumping to the Knowledge Class' and all the benefits that it entails.

Within that time period, your income should reach a minimum of 250K 2011USD and, for successful participants, it could easily reach seven figures.

Financial affluence is nice, but it is not the whole of life. As Incomes Explode, what was a fine distinction in the Industrial Age, will become progressively more significant. Cultures will move up Maslow's Hierarchy and their members will concern themselves, increasingly, with esteem and self-actualization issues. In other words, the Knowledge Class will not only pursue and achieve greater financial affluence, they will also pursue and achieve greater lifestyle affluence. They will come to cherish refinement, knowledge, wisdom, ethics, aesthetics, collegiality, community, justice, etc. and place these matters more centrally in their life values.

Sadly, the vast majority of people will hurtle into the future oblivious to what lies ahead for them. They will allow their lives to be shaped by a world that they do not, themselves, shape. Life happens to them rather than being designed and executed by them. A few, however, will consciously participate in the emergence of the global Information Age civilization. They will create a portion of it that is suited precisely to them and their chosen community.

As we say in our heading, this Fellowship has been created to facilitate collaborations between polymathic intellectuals, visionary entrepreneurs and risk tolerant venturists. The last is a Knowledge Class activity where the venturist acquires and organizes human and financial resources around an idea with potential. You may fill one or more of these functions within the Fellowship.

Like virtually all opportunities, the Global Polymathic Fellowship is something you must strive for if you are to achieve it. This means you must learn about the Transformation so that you can engage with our community from a position of knowledge rather than ignorance. It means that once a Fellow, you must initiate or join ventures and projects.
